The Sandbox sells all NFT islands

Sandbox sells all NFT islands

Exclusible, created in 2021, offers limited edition luxury non-woven textiles. Recently, exotic islands in The Sandbox metaverse have been put up for sale on the company’s official website. The auction was a great success, as all 25 accessible islands were sold out thanks to the participation of celebrities and high-end companies.

Sales amounted to more than 2.9 million dollars

Due to their proximity to one of the key features of The Sandbox, the islands of Exclusible are considered to have metaverse significance. Its distinctive features will allow its subsequent owners to obtain a great increase in value. Helipads, private ports, furniture, and accessories are just a few of the customization options available. Only 25 private islands are believed to have been sold, with the remainder going to celebrities with more than a million social media followers.

Consequently, at the conclusion of the final auction, Exclusible won 910 ETH, that is, about 2.9 million dollars. Several celebrities attended the event and were able to secure a spot on one of the exotic islands available. Marco Verratti of Paris Saint-Germain, Sara Sampaio of Bayern Munich, Kingsley Coman of Bayern Munich, former world number one Ana Ivanovic and Stanislas Wawrinka are among those named. In addition to eToro, there are other notable buyers of the exclusive islands.

Sale will last two weeks

Thibault Launay, co-founder and CEO of Exclusible, was surprised by the response to the sale of the exclusive private islands. He went on to say that the platform will continue to evolve to offer new metaverse experiences. “Our island inventory emptied in less than two weeks, illustrating the high demand for unique metaverse assets in the metaverse community. My co-founder Romain Girbal and I would like to express our gratitude to all of our partners for believing in our vision and working tirelessly to help them achieve their metaverse goals.”

Yoni Assia, CEO of eToro, defended his company’s investment by emphasizing the need to connect with producers and innovators in the metaverse. “We are delighted to be able to accompany Exclusible on this metaverse journey. Considering we’ve entered the metaverse, it was a no-brainer to join The Sandbox and buy Exclusible land. We are looking forward to seeing more and more interested eToro users in the near future.” He went on to say.

Exclusible has already made a name for itself in the NFT market, having sold 150 properties in The Sandbox’s Exclusive Luxury District in less than a year. After this, the platform plans to grow into more metaverses, such as Decentraland.
