Notable Wall Street personalities recommended what to do if you had to invest $50,000. Their projections are mixed, although the vast majority are bullish on the stock.

Although stocks fell last week, the main US indices have accumulated gains so far in 2023 (especially the Nasdaq).

This led traders to wonder what will happen to the companies in the market. In that sense, the experts recommended how to invest 50,000 USD also taking into account what could happen with the Fed and the increase in rates.

How to invest 50,000 USD

Jay Hatfield, CEO and portfolio manager at Infrastructure Capital Advisors, recommended allocating 60% of that amount to stocks but breaking it down as follows: 5% to Nvidia; 5% to Microsoft; 10% to dividend stocks; 20% to the Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 ETF; 10% to small-cap stocks; and 10% to the  SPDR S&P 500 ETF.

Ryan Pannell, CEO of US asset manager Kaiju, suggested the following: 35% to Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 ETF; 25% to options operations; 15% to SPDR S&P 500 ETFs; 15% for ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ ETF; 5% for iShares Russell 2000 ETFs; and 5% in cash.

Victor Kuoch, director of Natixis IM Solutions (Asia-Pacific), would allocate 40% of his portfolio to shares; 35% to bonds (mainly US government bonds); 15% to strategies based on options and gold; and 10% in cash.
