The Honda company and its forays into the digital world
In addition to accepting crypto payments, the company is also venturing into the NFT segment.
For the Formula 1 Tokyo Grand Prix, Honda created limited edition NFTs for the Japanese market. Event attendees also received a commemorative NFT, which was distributed to ticket holders after the race.
This launch of Honda-exclusive NFTs was done in collaboration with Animoca Brands Japan, which was established to support the global Web3 strategies of Japanese intellectual property and content owners.
