The documentation was submitted by an entity called BlackRock Advisors. The registered agent, according to the file, is Daniel Schwieger. This name matches that of a CEO who appears on LinkedIn under the company BlackRock.
A BlackRock representative, however, declined to comment on the matter.
The price of Ether, which was already showing positive behavior in line with the general rally of the cryptocurrency market, increased even more with the spread of this news, rising approximately 7% during the session.
