In a post by the official Shiba Inu blog, the main financial components of the Shiba Inu, Shibarium, SHI and SHIBFE, are under development and about to be released to the public. Shytoshi Kusama, the Shiba Inu’s lead developer, says, “I refuse to give specific dates at this time, but I hope to see one or more of these technologies before the end of the summer or very early fall.”
Being the backbone of all SHIB projects, Shibarium is the layer 2 blockchain found using BONE. SHI refers to the Shiba Inu stablecoin solution. Speaking about the development of SHI, the blog post reads: “Timeline: TBD Finishing development and entering testing soon”.
Not many details have been shared of the Shibarium Financial Ecosystem (SHIBFE) which is paired with SHI Development and SHIB financial products.
The thoughts of Ryoshi, the anonymous creator of Shiba Inu on SHIBFE, were captioned as follows:
“In addition to SHI being added as a couple of CURVE weighted pools on the ETH network, we expect a multitude of financial base Forks on Shibarium, this includes AAVE, CURVE, COMPOUND and of course ShibaSwap to name a few. A fantastic and immutable bridge, of course, is central to all of this.”
Shiba Inu also hosts the Shibarium hackathon prior to the completion of these components and the Shibshire Blastaway. The Shibshire Blastaway concept represents the decentralized result of SHIBFE and a complete Shibarium. This concept of a decentralized, multi-industry conglomerate using SHIBFE is loosely based on Berkshire Hathaway, which has its business built on a variety of industries, he says.
