The CEO of the renowned centralized platform Celsius Network made a prediction saying that Bitcoin will reach 6 digits by the end of 2022.
In a Kitco News interview, Celsius boss Alex Mashinsky says that Bitcoin will top 100,000 before the end of 2022 if it can break through several key psychological resistance levels.
Alex Mashinsky said, “I think we’re definitely going to hit all-time highs. The all-time highs are not that far from where we are, they are 67,000. And the question we don’t know is what happens next. How much resistance are we going to have at 70,000, 80,000, 90,000. I think we’re going to break 100,000″.
The CEO of Celsius made a similar prediction in 2021, but due to the circumstances of that year, all macroeconomic factors were affected, causing Bitcoin to not have its full growth.
On top of that, he said that, “I know I said that last year. But we had some macroeconomic events that basically kicked the can down the road. But we will see Bitcoin above 100,000 this year”.
Do Kwon, the CEO of Terraform Labs, creator of Terra (LUNA), launched a $10 billion Bitcoin buying campaign in March as part of plans to implement the leading cryptocurrency as a backing asset for the TerraUSD stablecoin ( UST).
Mashinsky further states that if other companies follow Terraform Lab’s example, the price of Bitcoin would rise.
